     Happy New Year's  Eve!  It is time to resolve to lose that excess weight! Yes, it is time to plan how you will lose those unwanted pounds of flesh!  God is so awesome and He wants us to be successful in our NewYear's Resolutions which includes our weight loss plans.  God will equip us with all that we need to be victorious in our weight loss battles!  I suggest that when you make your resolutions that you pray over all of them and then proceed to win each and every battle that God and you have outlined!  You can be victorious in all of your weight loss battles!  You can keep your New Year's Resolutions!  It is a brand new day and a brand NewYear!  Walk into the New Year with a brand new spirit, a spirit of success and accomplishment! "Is Weight Loss a Mental or Physical Game?"

       Is weight loss a mental game or a physical game?  I suggest to you that weight loss is predominantly a mental game! Let's really think about this! I truly believe that weight loss entails a great deal of prayers, thought, organization, structure and evaluation.
       My new book, "Think Thin!" Thinking Your Way to Thinutopia!," emphasizes the need to thoroughly think your way to Thinutopia (a place where people feels good about their weight).  I find my self strategizing, planning how to lose weight and following through on those plans!  You have to work out a weight loss plan and you must stick to the plan.  What good is a plan if you do not use it?
      Therefore, I know that healthy weight loss is mostly a mental game even though exercise is an integral part of any weight loss plan!   I suggest that we all must play this game to the best of our abilities to reach our weight loss goals! Do you think weight loss is predominantly a physical game?  Please convince me!

     It is very important that we make wise and healthy food choices during the Christmas holidays! Pray and ask God to give you wisdom and self-control! God answers prayers!  However, it is so very easy to use the holidays as an excuse to fall off the wagon, but if we all use some God-given wisdom and self-control, we will not fall of the wagon and injure ourselves!  Moderation is always the key to survival in the Holiday food jungle!  Yes, if you can decrease the amount of food you are consuming and do not go overboard you may be able to comfortably wear the same outfit home that you wore to the Christmas party.  You are the  "master of your universe!"  You are also the only person who controls what goes into your mouth!  You are the person who knows when enough is enough!  You are in charge of your life and your weight loss program....Make those wise/healthy food choices during the Christmas holidays and every day!

     Please remember to be good to yourself during the Christmas holiday and every day.  Remember less is more!  Remember moderation is the key!  Remember you can have your favorite decadent food! Just do not eat all of it.  Smaller  portions is the way to go! Share your favorite food with a loved one.  They deserve it because we all deserve to have our palates pampered :) ! Give yourself a break, and cut yourself some slack!  Remember less food can equal more weight  loss!

   Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired of the excess weight?  Have you gotten to the point where you really want to do something about the extra frustrating pounds? Are you ready to cry "uncle' and get rid of those pesky pounds?  Do you avoid looking in the mirror?  Do you dislike your body image?     "You are truly the only you that you have!"  Recognize the importance of loving yourself and being good to yourself.  You know what you need to take care of yourself and  you know what you need to do to lose the unhealthy weight!  For you are the only person who can lose the excess weight!  But in the process of losing that weight take the time to be kind to yourself! Forgive the failures and errors that you make and realize that we are all human. Let the person who has never failed at losing weight throw the first stone!  Love yourself because, repeat after me..."You are the only you that you have!!!"
        Do not beat up on yourself because you failed to reach Thinutopia in a timely manner.  You are not the first  person who has failed to reach Thinutopia in a timely manner and you are truly not the last!  Don't worry Thinutopia will be there waiting for you and you will be welcomed!!!  I promise no one will ask how long it took you  to get there!
       Realize that you are a wonderful, awesome, unique,  and beautiful  person that God chose to give the precious gift of life!  Recognize how special you really are and realize that you are the only you that you have!!!
